Felix and Cecelia Vevuzela and daughter Hannah Pretoria, South Africa
Felix and Cecelia have been involved in missions for over twelve years ministering to youth, children and adults. Our vision is to see lives transformed through Gospel empowerment. We want to be catalysts for change, integrating the Word of God and discipleship programs with community empowerment in African communities.
We live in Pretoria, South Africa where we enjoy building relationships with pastors and community leaders in communities with the ultimate goal of working with the people. We facilitate discipleship training, basic life skills training, HIV/AIDS training, youth empowerment as well as income generating projects, helping communities to be self-sufficient so that people will be empowered and equipped to live lives full of purpose - breaking the cycle of poverty and disease and being able to change their communities for good.
We also oversee the CCP ministry in Pretoria, reaching out to those living in poverty in the townships around the city by providing school fees, food and children’s ministry to those who need it most.
The vision is big, but we know that if God has put the vision and desire in our hearts, He will give us the strength and wisdom to do it!
Hector and Ruth Aragon - Guatemala
Hector and Ruth have been actively involved in evangelism and administration for ChildCARE Plus since January 1997. The program currently benefits 17 schools in Guatemala. Each school is linked to a local assembly and provides education up to technical studies. The Aragons host many short term missions teams who are involved in ministry, completing building projects and providing medical services. They also engage in teaching and preaching in churches and gatherings of pastors and evangelists.
Ministry goals:
1. Translate, print and promote a Sunday School Certificate
Program.
2. Train pastors and their leaders with a discipleship program.
3. Help the CCP schools close the three-year gap for preparing
students for the William Cornelius Vocational School.
4. Promote the need for more child sponssorship
David and Eileen Courey - Belgium
After almost 30 years of ministry in Canada David and Eileen have felt the call to teach at Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium.
"If you could rebuild the church from scratch...
what kind of leader would you be looking for?"
That is what is happening in Europe. Today Christianity is at its lowest ebb since the Reformation. In Belgium Evangelicals make up 1% of the population, but that's where the excitement is! Equipping leaders for the rebirth of the church in Europe and North Africa.
David will be involved with the education and training of leaders for full-time ministry at the Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels Belgium. CTS has trained over 2,000 students and is the leading international seminary for the Assemblies of God, USA in Europe. It receives students from many countries and offers education in English. Most graduates become pastors, missionaries and theological educators.
